Bakery Oven Operator

Job Description:
The Bakery Oven Operator is responsible for scoring and baking breads.
Candidates must be able to coordinate the products according to specifications and company guidelines. Successful candidates will have experience in the production environment operating ovens.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the food quality and safety of the products produced at our facility. In addition, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Operate ovens safely; push and pull racks of product from Ovens
Score product; safely cutting product before baking according to specifications
Documents time product is removed from proof box and placed in oven
Ensures Oven area is kept clean according to company and governmental guidelines
Communicates any concerns regarding the quality of product with Oven Lead, Supervisor, and/or Quality Assurance
Follows all personal and food safety rules
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
This position requires a person experienced and/or the ability in the following:
Knowledge of the Bakery oven operations ingredients and recipes
Excellent Interpersonal, Communication, Time Management Skills and Self-Motivation
High School Education or Equivalency Required
Knowledge of the Bakery procedures and machinery
Professional appearance and presentation required
Knowledge of GMPs and Allergen Control Program
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Positive attitude in support of the company’s mission
